Laurie M. Nield, a founding member of Nield, Delpierre & Vasta, PLC, represents clients throughout the Hampton Roads area. She primarily practices in the Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk Courts. Ms. Nield practices daily in the General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and Circuit Courts representing juveniles and adults in family, criminal, and Guardian ad Litem cases.
Ms. Nield is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, and like many families in Hampton Roads, she relocated to the area on her husband's military orders. Interested in pursuing a career in law, Ms. Nield attended Regent University and graduated in 2004. Since receiving her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Nield has worked in private practice and for the last decade has operated in solo practice.
Ms. Nield currently serves on the Norfolk and Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court's Guardian ad Litem and court-appointed counsel lists. She also serves as court-appointed counsel in the Norfolk General District Court and Norfolk Circuit Court on matters ranging from traffic infractions to serious felony offenses.
Ms. Nield currently resides in Chesapeake with her four children and her husband Joey, who retired from the Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer and continues to serve our country as a government employee. As a mother of five, she is committed to protecting and representing the best interests of Hampton Road's children.
