Kelly L. DiCorrado (formerly Kelly L. Vasta), represents her clients in the seven cities of Southside Hampton Roads and beyond, including Accomack, Northampton, and Williamsburg/James County, Virginia. She focuses her practice in the areas of criminal defense, child custody & visitation, and civil defense litigation. Ms. DiCorrado is originally from the white mountains of New Hampshire but grew up in Virginia Beach after moving here when she was a young girl.

Ms. DiCorrado began her professional career in the insurance industry. She served as a litigation claims examiner for GEICO Insurance Company and the Avis Budget Group. She was responsible for administering nationwide claims from the Eastern Seaboard (Virginia, North Carolina, New York, Florida) to the West Coast (California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Oregon). She was also assigned to international claims in Canada.

She is experienced in litigating high severity claims involving catastrophic injury, product liability, and the modeling of personal injury claims involving interventional spinal procedures and spinal surgery. She has extensive experience in claims involving the factoring of medical liens and litigation financing. Ms. DiCorrado has assisted the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) on numerous investigations involving interstate conspiracies to commit bodily injury insurance fraud.

After exposure to this wide spectrum of civil litigation, Ms. DiCorrado decided to attend law school. After graduating she devoted her practice to the art of advocacy. She has extensive trial experience in criminal law, family law and civil defense. While Ms. DiCorrado loves advocating in the courtroom, she takes pride in working closely with her clients to achieve an effective resolution tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Ms. DiCorrado currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family. She especially loves spending time with her daughter, who is an avid equestrian, and their horse, Finn.
